The Education Community and Brimblecombe Builders

Brimblecombe Builders have been building education related projects for many years for all levels of education including but not limited to pre-school, primary, secondary and tertiary.

Clicking on the links below will take you to a more detailed presentation of some of the school building construction projects done by Brimblecombe Builders. Others can be seen on this page.

Virginia Primary School Library (pictured) was a very successful project delivered on time and on budget. The site is located about 30 kilometres from Adelaide.  A standalone building complete with student toilets and staff amenities capped with a structural cantilever canopy.

Projects have been carried out for the following educational institutions-

Uni SA, Adelaide University, Roseworthy College, St Peters Girls Collegiate School, Prince Alfred College, Angle Vale Primary School, Virginia Primary School, Murray Bridge Christian School, Kalaya Children's Centre, Treetops Childcare Centre, Temple Christian College, Woodcroft

Murray Bridge Christian School (pictured) was presented with a Gymnasium under the BER scheme. Brimblecombe Builders constructed this using a raft slab with structural portal frame. This was complemented with colorbond roofing, wall cladding, combination brickwork. The project included all services and amenities.

Angle Vale Classroom Block

Angle Vale Classroom Block

The demolition of the existing classroom block with potential asbestos contamination was carried out over the August holidays in 2010.

By this time, the new site had been prepared, and the new building well underway, incorporating airconditioning for the central space, a storage compactus unit, plus items for re-use from the demolished building. Surrounding paving was also laid.
