Michael Rundell - Managing Director


Mike is a positive solid manager with a hands on approach to problem solving with a can do approach. His formal qualifications of a Bachelor of Applied Science in Building Technology coupled with his extensive industry experience in the construction industry places him in good stead as an industry leader.

This coupled with his experience  as past president of the Master Builders Association of South Australia and being a long term member of the executive of the Association for many years has given him a strong industry focus striving for the best outcomes for all parties.


Mike has high ethical standards and a high focus on honesty integrity and dependability. He demonstrates these qualities in his passion for the building construction industry. A referee stated that under Mike's leadership,a project was meticulously managed, budgets strictly adhered to and regular site meetings kept all informed.

Mike has an overarching role and has been actively involved in all the projects undertaken since he became Managing Director of Brimblecombe Builders in 1987. Prior to this appointment, Mike's previous roles included Contracts Manager and Project Engineer appointments.

Lindsay Kay - Estimator / Project Manager

Having a trade background gives Lindsay a strong technical focus that aids in problem solving if and when issues arise. Lindsay has all round experience which stands him in good stead, giving him a special insight into how the job should be done.

He believes in 'Getting it right the first time', (doing it once and doing it right!) and finding the best solution for the long term, always considering the best interests of the client. He exhibits openness, dedication, and is a perfectionist in all his projects.

Lindsay has been complimented for his exceptional work...on delivering projects within a tight time frame despite external delays.

Gordon Tuft - Estimator / Project Manager


Gordon has been an Estimator/ Project Manager at Brimblecombe since 2007 and has had over 25 years experience in this type of role. His drafting background makes it easy for him to envisage buildable options.  Clients have acknowledged this advantage.

Gordon is a quiet achiever who brings passion to his building projects as well as

Stephen Reynolds - Site Foreman

Having run his own business for many years, Steve understands the need for attaining a balance to achieve project outcomes.Steve is driven and focused on achieving the highest level of quality possible and achieving program targets. He is honest and to the point in all his dealings.

Courtney is a young and vibrant team member with a strong desire to achieve. With her 12 years of experience and her can do and calm approach, Courtney adds a balance to the office environment.
