Salvation Army - heritage refurbishment & extensions

The Salvation Army has been a long standing client over many years, with links to one of the founders of  Brimblecombe Builders.

Numerous projects  have been undertaken in Adelaide to service the aged care industry,  in addition to its charitable operations.

In addition to the aged care facilities undertaken for the Salvation Army, Brimblecombe Builders  have also completed commercial  office fitouts for the organisation..

The work  for the Salvation Army at Florence Street entailed three projects in itself.

  • The main one was the refurbishment of the existing two storey heritage bluestone building and substantial extension to same to accommodate the relocation of the Salvation Army's administrative divisions.

  •  An earlier project on the same site was the remediation and restoration of the heritage veranda on the same two storey building.

  • Brimblecombe also constructed an extension to the Women's quarters in Bramwell House on the same site.
