Heritage Building Converted

Temple Christian College has uniquely fitted itself into a heritage industrial building at Mile End.

The Technical Studies area was in one of these areas. The contact brief from the Principal was to ' open the ways' and to continue  with the 'industrial finishes theme' that runs through the College.

After demolishing the existing partitions the area to contain the new tech studies workshop was opened up to expose the existing columns of the "old Penfolds Winery" and the existing concrete floor was re-graded. With the introduction of new cable trays and lighting and the new dust extraction products, new machines and benches achieved the desired industrial open look.

The client was extremely satisfied with the end result. The project was designed by Hodgkison Architects.
